What our school does to support our pupils with regard to occupational orientation/support:
The Galilei-Gymnasium undertakes many activities in the field of vocational and tuitional orientation and has hence gathered many experiences of which the project partners can profit. The following aims are thereby very important to us: •Connection of the school and the world of employment •Strengthening of the economic basic knowledge •Practice- and application orientation as well as individual promotion with regard to tuitional and vocational orientation

The Galilei-Gymnasium undertakes many activities in the field of vocational and tuitional orientation and has hence gathered many experiences of which the project partners can profit. The following aims are thereby very important to us: Connection of the school and the world of employment, strengthening of the economic basic knowledge, practice- and application-orientation as well as individual promotion with regard to tuitional and vocational orientation.
We try to reach these aims by means of cooperation with extra-school partners, experts in various lessons, field trips to enterprises and internships, an assessment of competences and their individual promotion. During one’s school career we address questions regarding the world of work in various subjects. Accordingly, various teaching units and a close cooperation with the agency for employment, enterprises and universities prepare the process for a long-laid out tuitional and vocational orientation.
